7.4.10. I am grateful for farewells, freedoms, family and fun today. It's Independence Day in America. Although I don't personally celebrate this day (I'm a wanna be Hawaiian activist, right?), I am grateful for the freedom to choose, the freedoms that the Lord and the gospel provide and I am not unaware that things are much worse in other places in the world. I am grateful to live in Hawaii, my native land. It was the last Sunday for the Dugans and Fujiis, so many great families leaving. We enjoyed a nice dinner at the Nauahis with board games.
