11.2.10. I am grateful today for voting and pudding parfaits-I would vote for one if they could run for office!!!Voting day-big day in Hawaii for the governor's race and the Senate. I didn't particularly like my options-Abercrombie or Aiona, Hanabusa or Djou. You know, I like Aiona and Djou as people, but I just can't see myself voting for Republicans this year and I don't think they'd be strong leaders. (Abercrombie and Hanabusa did end up winning, btw.) So I cast my vote and enjoyed dinner at Zippy's with the youth board sub-committee on sibling rights: Signe (CP Hui), Kalani, Mele, Noy, Jeanne and myself. It was a good meeting and we gained a lot of insight into what the youth want and what we can move forward on in the strategic planning. Ending the meeting with a chocolate pudding parfait was the great way to end a long day!
